Ultrasound is a common diagnostic medical imaging technique that employs high-frequency sound waves to generate dynamic images known as sonograms. Ultrasound is a non-invasive, painless, radiation-free method of obtaining images of blood flow inside the body, as well as nearly every type of tissue or organ.
A Doppler ultrasound is a new imaging technique that uses sound waves to show blood moving through blood vessels. A regular ultrasound also uses sound waves to create images of structures inside the body, but it can't show blood flow.
We have added Doppler equipment to the Ultrasound Department which is the state of the art equipment for carrying out procedures like Echocardiographs and Vascular studies for various organs of the body. A very experienced medical team is engaged to lead this section
